Electric scooter or e-bike: which one to pick?
Similar price, similar battery, two very different uses. The right pick depends less on budget than on your route.

We get this question every day, and the honest answer is: it depends on three things — distance, parking, and what you carry.
01Distance
Under 8 km per trip, both work. Between 8 and 20 km, the e-bike gets more comfortable: seated position, less sweating, a bigger battery. Beyond 20 km the scooter wins on raw time, provided you aim for at least 50 km of claimed range.
03Parking
Here the scooter wins outright. It fits in a lift, under a desk, in a full bike room. A bike needs a reliable hook — and in some buildings, the syndic’s permission. If you carry your machine up every evening, weigh 19 kg against 16.8 kg with a handle: you feel it on the third floor.
The best machine is the one you take out on days you do not feel like going out.
06What you carry
A laptop, a work tray, groceries for four: a bike with panniers and a rack handles it, no bag on your back. A light bag, a helmet, a phone: the scooter is enough. For delivery work the question answers itself — the S2 CARGO and E3 CARGO exist for that.
08The ground
Broken roads, uneven pavements, improvised works: the S2’s 10-inch wheel absorbs more than a 26-inch bike wheel. The corniche tracks, beach car parks and sand belong to the E2 CROSS and its 47 mm tyres.
10Two-year budget
A 6,490 DH scooter uses about 15 DH of electricity a month in daily use. A 12,900 DH bike, about 10 DH. Over two years energy never pays back the purchase gap — comfort and usage decide, not arithmetic.
